Best bakery I've been in for a long time. Scrumptious pies and delicious sweet treats! I'd highly recommend any visitor to Goulburn makes Trappers Bakery a must do part of their stay. We stopped for a late lunch and they were still extremely busy but lots of staff on and fast + friendly service. Rambo the Big Merino is easy to access across the road too.

Located at 4 Sowerby Street, Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a wonderful bakery and general spot to stop whether you’re a local or stoping for a quick meal travelling through. We were the latter. I had a sausage roll and a coke. It was delicious 😋. The menu is quite extensive for a bakery, plenty to choose from and there is a good cake 🍰 selection. The bakery is located directly across the road from the Big Merino and also has a Motel attached. It’s really well designed with wonderful quotes displayed on the walls and ceiling. There’s ample seating but from what I saw, it’s very popular so the seating can fill up fast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a ramp to the side of the building so it’s also accessible and there’s good toilet 🚻 facilities, including disabled toilets. Would definitely recommend a visit. Thumbs up!! 👍👍

A lovely bakery and one of the best in Goulburn. Great selection and well worth a visit if you’re in town. I didn’t try a pie, but the frittata was delicious. Highly recommended.

We loved our veg and other non veg pies. There are fairly few options for vegetarian folks. Loved the pies and overall vibe. They are quite quick and we didn’t have to wait very long. Highly recommend.

Basic food done well. Had the pepper steak pie, ham & cheese croissant and hash brown. The inside when busy is chaotic. There is a sign saying dont queue in one line, to go to an available register instead. People are sheep and obviously don't read.

We always stop at Trappers Bakery whenever we’re passing through. My favourite is the chilli beef pie. Today I got the curry chicken pie. They also sell refrigerated pies (not frozen), so we usually grab a few to take home. My partner normally goes for the fruit toast or the veggie pie, both really good, along with a coffee. We’ve also tried the apple and cinnamon tea cake and enjoyed that too. There’s heaps of parking, loads of space inside, and plenty of seats to sit and relax. The toilets are clean, which is a big plus on a road trip. It’s also right next to the Big Merino, making it a fun stop for a quick photo before getting back on the road.

What a beautiful place and perfect for a pit stop! We being vegetarians always have to be careful where we stop so we have enough to eat and it’s not just a compromise. We had spinach and feta rolls, apple pie and a veggie pie. And all so good! The spinach and feta rolls were our favorite closely followed by the apple pie. The variety of breads was amazing too and we are planning a pit stop on our way back to see if there is any available

While charging at the nearby Supercharger, we made a deliberate pit stop at Trappers Bakery, and it rewarded the detour. The steak and kidney pie is unapologetically old-school in the best way — chunky cuts of meat, a rich, glossy gravy, and a filling that tastes slow-cooked rather than rushed. The pastry deserves credit: flaky on top, sturdy at the base, and well balanced so it supports the filling without overpowering it. Temperature-wise it was warm, not volcanic — ready to eat immediately, which feels like a small but thoughtful detail. The kidney brings a confident, gamey edge that will divide opinions. It’s not toned down or apologetic, but if you appreciate a proper beefy funk, this is exactly what a classic steak and kidney should deliver. The savouriness builds as you eat, without tipping into heaviness or excessive salt. The pastry cabinet was equally tempting — a lineup of pastries that clearly take craftsmanship seriously — but we exercised restraint this time. As a pit stop during a charge, Trappers nails the brief: comforting, honest baking with flavour depth and intent. This is the kind of bakery that understands tradition and executes it properly.

Absolute grouse joint. Food and coffee were great. Definitely a good spot for a bite to eat and a leg stretch at the big merino. Staff are friendly too, does get busy though which must mean somethings good.

What a great bakery! Starting with a sizable car park, you enter the large cafe style bakery. There are plenty of products on display like sandwiches, pies cakes, slices and drinks along with breads of course. The tills were constantly manned by efficient staff. On our first visit we bought lunches and cakes. Everything was really nice and fresh cream.. yum! We've also tried the family quiche and apple crumble pie, both very nice indeed. I wish they had a frew outdoor tables so we could have our dog but other than that a great experience.
